Circuit board (PCB) design and electronics

We design the circuit, lay out the board and give you the files a PCB factory needs to make it. If your device needs a phone app, we can make that too.

What this is

A PCB (printed circuit board) is the green board inside almost every electronic device. It holds the parts and joins them with copper tracks. Designing one has two stages. The schematic is the circuit diagram. The layout decides where every part and every track goes on the real board.

We do both. Before the files go out, the board is checked by software for tracks that are too close, connections that are missing and holes that are too small, so mistakes are caught on the computer and not after the boards arrive. Boards that switch mains power get extra spacing for safety.

Who it is for

  • Startups and inventors building a product
  • Students doing an electronics or IoT project
  • Businesses that want a smart device, such as a pump or light controller
  • Anyone with a working breadboard prototype who wants a proper board

What you get

  • The schematic (circuit diagram) as a PDF
  • The PCB layout, checked for errors
  • Gerber files, which PCB factories use to make the board
  • A parts list (BOM) with every component to buy
  • Pick-and-place files, if the factory is also fitting the parts
  • A 3D view of the finished board

How it works

  1. 1Tell us what it should do

For example: switch on a pump when the tank is empty, or read a sensor and send the value to a phone.

  2. 2We draw the circuit

Using parts that are easy to buy in India.

  3. 3We lay out the board

Sized to fit your box, and checked for errors.

  4. 4You order the boards

With the factory files we give you. We can assemble the first prototype.

What to send us

  • What the device should do
  • How it is powered: battery, adapter or mains
  • Size limits, if it has to fit in a box
  • Any parts you already have or want to use

PumpPilot: Wi-Fi water pump controller

An ESP32-C3 board that switches a water pump through a relay and reads a float switch in the tank, so the pump can be watched and controlled over Wi-Fi. It has 25 parts on a two-layer board. The tracks that carry 230 V to the pump are wide and kept well away from the low-voltage side. The board passes the design-rule check with zero errors.

  • 74 × 62 mm, two layers
  • Design check: 0 errors
  • Factory files ready

Questions people ask

What is a Gerber file?

It is the standard set of files PCB factories use to make a board. It holds each copper layer, the drill holes and the printed labels. With Gerber files you can order boards from any PCB maker in India or abroad.

What is a design-rule check (DRC)?

Software checks the board for tracks that are too close together, connections that are missing and holes that are too small. A board with zero DRC errors has none of these problems.

Do you work with ESP32 and Arduino?

Yes. ESP32 chips are a good choice for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices. Our PumpPilot board uses an ESP32-C3.

Can you also make the app that controls the device?

Yes. We build Android apps and websites too, so the board and the app can be planned together.

My circuit works on a breadboard. Can you turn it into a PCB?

Yes. Send photos and the circuit you used. We draw it properly and lay out a board for it.
